The climate of Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida is one of most unique in Europe. The area enjoys over 3000 hours of sun every year. Next to the Mediterranean sea and in a unique environment with peaceful waters, surrounded by beautiful nature with average temperature of 18-21c, this region of Spain is one of the most desirable in the Mediterranean sea. Summers are really warn (maximum temperature can be 40°C) and winters are mild. Annual average rain amount is 300-350mm and usually it rains late fall or in the winter time.
Excellent climate makes the province one of the ideal places to spend the holidays or even live there all year round!

One of the best aspects of Costa Blanca and Costa Calida is the excellent accessibility to anywhere. Thru the region runs the A-7 highway from Malaga (Andalucia) to all the away to French border. Also there are many smaller roads which are built well and are almost as quick as the highways. The international airport of Alicante has excellent connections to anywhere. The San Javier (10 min from Murcia) airport has large amounts of direct cheap flights to almost anywhere in UK and to the rest of the Europe, the new international airport in Corvera will be ready in a few years.
Also it is easy to take a bus or train from Murcia or from Alicante, when travelling in Spain.Nowadays public transportation is really good: buses are non-smoking and new and in trains, they show movies in long distance trips.
